Odycloud mission
Our mission is to help organizations and teams to optimize their prediction capabilities & data analysis by combining proprietary software with state-of-the-art HPC apps. To accomplish this objective, we leverage public cloud resources to provide bespoke simulations and cloud services. The bespoke simulations include forecasts (up to 2 weeks), reanalysis and evaluation of potential outcomes based on historical data and/or worst-case scenarios.

Additionally, we also offer cloud-related services for HPC end-users, Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) in the Marketplace, and apps to preprocess & postprocess data such as wildfires.
Bespoke simulations
- Meteorological forecasts and weather reanalysis
- Global simulations at different resolutions with the option to use multiple refinements
- Regional simulations with 3D unstructured Voronoi meshes
- Mesoscopic simulations with or without factoring atmospheric pollutants on radiative effects
- ATD (atmospheric transport and dispersion) computations
- Evaluation of air pollutants and air quality dynamics
- Modeling of the local/global dispersion of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and air pollutants
- Evaluation of greenhouse effect mitigation with innovative technology (e.g. sulfate aerosols)
- Transport & chemical select modeling
- CO2 emissions and sequestration modeling
- Spatial & temporal evaluation of wildfires and local phenomena such as fireworks and their impact on air composition
The standard outputs from bespoke simulations include netCDF files along with meteorological variables and species temporal variations tabulated in CSV files. Additionally, animations and outputs in other file formats are available upon request. The results are distributed through two different channels: Directly to customers or through the AWS Data Exchange program, which allows subscribers to download all files directly through the AWS portal or CLI.
Wildfire emissions app
This app uses satellite data to compute the temporal evolution of plumes caused by wildfires and generate emission files that can be directly used by air quality models and other software.

- Automatic generation of CSV files with physical & geographical data for each wildfire either across the globe or for a target domain
- Ability to select among several physical plume models
- Output species can be written using the CB6R5, CRACMM2 or other chemical mechanism
- Speciation includes over 40 species with the option to speciate particulate matter based on volatility
- Generated files can be directly read by CMAQ, WRF-CMAQ and MPAS-CMAQ (end of the year)
Amazon Machine Images (AMIs)
- GUI for Numerical Predictions in the public cloud (Graviton4)
- Numerical Weather Prediction & Air Quality Modeling on Graviton4 with Odycloud support
Cloud Services
- Evaluation of IaaS solutions and migration of proprietary/non-proprietary software to the cloud
- Air quality data: compilation for specific region, analysis and/or evaluation of potential scenarios
